INDIVIDUAL LESSONS

Here at CAMM we believe in a student-led approach in all our teaching sessions, whether it be band or individual one-to-one lessons. Interest and enjoyment are key to learning any new skill, so we focus on songs and genres chosen by the students, while bringing in skills to facilitate learning, such as reading tablature and developing finger independence. Music theory is woven into all our lessons as related to the songs being learnt, rather than focusing on this as a separate area for learning. We also support students to work towards music grades through RSL or Trinity exam boards up to Grade 8.

 

We offer individual lessons in the instruments/specialist areas listed below. Individual lessons are typically half an hour long, but can be booked for an hour.

The price of an individual lesson is dependent on the experience and qualification of the tutor, the starting cost is £18 for half an hour.
