Megan Roe

J Frisco supported Courtney Pine, Portico QuartetRoller Trio and performed at London Jazz, Manchester Jazz, Durham Jazz and Lancaster Jazz Festival.

Meg gained Qualified Teacher Status in 2021 and was appointed at Flakefleet Primary school where she led the school, staff band as well as having her own year 4 class.

Meg then took over management of the Fleetwood Academy of Modern Music where she worked closely with FAMM founder, Francis Ajiteru.

In recent years. Meg has developed an adult band programme which prepares groups of Mums and Dads for the stage in their own bands. These adult groups have been hugely successful and popular.

In addition, Meg has connected with the Home-Educated community to provide day-time music education.
